Orientation meeting January 13th at 7:00 pm in the big gym
 for all Sophomores, Juniors, and their parents

 

Students:  Get a jump-start on your career by taking hands-on, relevant classes at the NEW Career & Technical Education (CTE) Academy!

 

This state-of-the-art Academy offers a continuum of courses from introductory level to highly advanced
in the areas of:   

  • Architecture & Construction

  • Arts, A/V Technology & Communications

  • Health Science

  • Hospitality & Tourism

  • Human Services

  • Manufacturing

  • Science, Technology, Engineering & Math

  • Transportation, Distribution & Logistics

Students attend Parker High School to take core academic classes such as English, math and science. They attend the Academy for a block of time each school day to receive their specialized training in classrooms and laboratory settings where students utilize their skills and knowledge to solve problems, work as teams on projects and prepare for the 21st century. Transportation to and from the Academy is the students responsibility.

The Academy is for all students regardless of whether a student plans to attend a two year technical
institute, a four year college or university, join the military or enter the workforce.
