I am Mr. Michael Morran and I am originally from Beresford where I grew up on a dairy farm. I have been in education for 30 years as a principal, social studies teacher and a college coach. I absolutely love being an educator, helping students learn and becoming successful. My dad was an immigrant from the Netherlands and I love learning and teaching history. There is so much to be learned from the past. I have coached basketball, football, track, baseball and tennis.

My wife, Kim, works at Avera and we have a blended family of 7 children and nine grandkids. Kim and I love to golf, boat, travel and spend as much time as possible with family and our church. I am so happy to have returned home to South Dakota and am so excited to be a Parker Pheasant.
