Mrs. Vogel graduated from Kimball High School and then attended the University of South Dakota in Vermillion SD, graduated with a major in Alcohol and Drug Abuse Studies with minors in psychology and sociology. She received her masters in School Counseling from USD in the spring of 1997. 

Mrs. Vogel's first counseling position was at Plankinton SD as the preschool through grade 12 counselor and was employed in Plankinton for 9 years before coming to Parker in 2006.

Darmi and her husband Jim, have lived in Parker since 1984.  Their daughter, Jessica, lives in Sioux Falls along with their two granddaughters, Trinity and Taleah.  

Hobbies include: golfing, reading and spending time with family.
