I was born and raised in Vermillion, SD.  After high school graduation, I attended Northern State University for two years where I played basketball and ran track.  After an injury my sophomore year, I transferred to USD and graduated in 2000 with my elementary education degree with a middle school endorsement.  While teaching my first year, I completed my master's degree as well in curriculum and instruction.  I have taught a variety of grades and subjects during my educational career.  I am excited to be starting my 5th year in Parker teaching math and coaching the junior high boys basketball teams.  This will be my 24th year teaching!

  I love spending time with my husband, Ryan, and our two boys Landon and Caleb.  We enjoy watching and playing sports together.  In the summer, we like to go boating and tubing at the lake.  I am looking forward to an exciting year!
