• Parents & Students:

Every high school student attending Parker High School will receive a laptop computer for them to use during their time at PHS.  It is my goal to have all of these handed out before the first day of school. Below is information on how the laptops will be dispersed to the students.  Grade 9 is listed first and then grades 10, 11, & 12 after that.

    Grade 9 Training/Distribution:

    • Thursday, August 11th, 2:00-4:00 pm:  9th grade girls laptop training in the computer lab
    • Thursday, August 12th, 1:00-3:00 pm:  9th grade boys laptop training in the computer lab
We would also like parents and student to read the Student 1-to-1 Computing Agreement.  This can be found at this link:   Computing Agreement

We require the Device Protection Form (an insurance form) to be filled out and returned with the student during that training time.   They will not be able to take home their laptop until this form is turned in.  This form can be found on page 11 of the computing agreement.  A copy can also be obtained in the office at the school.

If neither of these times work, please continue reading below.

    Grades 10, 11, & 12 Training/Distribution:

I have set up 3 training/distribution times for this to happen.

Below are 3 different times your student can choose from to come to training and receive their laptop.  They are each designated for a certain grade but if your student can't come during their scheduled time, they can choose one of the other scheduled times to receive their laptop.

    • Session 1:  Sophomores on Monday, August 22nd, 1:30-3:00 pm
    • Session 2:  Juniors on Monday, August 22nd, 3:30-5:00 pm
    • Session 3:  Seniors on Tuesday, August 23rd, 9:00-10:30 am

(Freshmen laptop training is scheduled another week.  If you have a freshmen student and can't make it during their scheduled time, please choose one of the sessions above.)

Please fill out the form at this link so I can get a better idea of who can come and when they can come.
