Welcome to Parker Learning Center (PLC)!

The Parker School has regular school days Monday through Thursday with most Fridays being specialized student-help time in the mornings from 8-12 and teacher in-Service in the afternoon.

The Parker PLC program provides before and after childcare as well as summer childcare.

Friday Childcare

• The Parker Learning Center's Friday school program is in operation from 6:00 am until 6:00 pm on regularly scheduled Friday help days and teacher in-service days listed on the District calendar.  
• The Friday program is available for students that are enrolled in grades K-6 at Parker School.
• The Parker Learning Center provides recreation, enrichment, tutoring, and prevention opportunities to youth.

Before & After School Childcare

• The after school program is available for students that are enrolled in grades K-6 at Parker School.
• The Parker Learning Center offers before and after school childcare.  It is in operation Monday through Thursday from 6:00 am -8:00 am and then again from 3:45 pm until 6:00 pm on regularly scheduled school days.

The Cornbelt Educational Cooperative provides early childhood special education services to children birth-5 years old for the community. Children may be in need of assistance in speech/language development, gross and fine motor skills, cognitive delays, and/or socialization and adaptive behavioral difficulties. If you feel your child could benefit from these services, please reach out to the school.

The Parker School District operates four school bus routes to transport rural students in grades K-12 both to and from school.  This is done at no cost to the students.  In addition to the bus routes, students are transported to the various extra-curricular school activities on school-owned buses.

This is an after school program that runs until 4:30 daily when school is in session. This is for students that need extra help on their homework, homework completion, or just a quiet place to work. We typically have a certified teacher running this program to assist the students with their needs. This is a very popular program for students at all levels grades K-6.
