Fine Arts Opportunities

• Chorus (Grades 7-12): Our chorus program is designed for students in grades 7 through 12, offering them a chance to explore the world of vocal music. Two concerts are performed each year including a Christmas concert and a Spring concert held in the large gymnasium.  Outside of the concerts, choir members can participate in:

  • BEC Honor Choir

  • All-State Chorus & Orchestra

  • Senior Honor Choir

• Elementary Music (Grades K-6): The foundation of musical education begins early with our classroom music program for grades K through 6. Students engage in interactive and age-appropriate musical activities that lay the groundwork for a lifelong appreciation of music.  Two concerts are held each year;  Christmas & Spring

Band (Grades 5-12): Students in grades 5 through 12 have the opportunity to participate in our band program. Whether they are beginners or seasoned musicians, our band instructor aims to provide tailored instruction to help students develop their musical skills including one-on-one band lessons.  Events throughout the year include:

• A Christmas and Spring concert held in the large gymnasium

• Marching Band which is held in the fall and members perform at various outdoor marching competitions and events

• Band members also have the opportunity to participate in BEC (Big East Conference) Honor Band, Jr. High Honor Band and small & large group contest

On May 10th, 2024, the students at Parker School will be performing the production of Honk Jr. musical.  All students in grades 2-12 were invited to be a part of this all school musical. Students starting work on the musical in January of 2024.  Mr. Paul Moneke is the director.
