Our mission statement is Igniting Minds for the Future, and our caring staff strives to do just that every day.

The Parker School District has the honor of being the only school in the state of South Dakota to achieve the Distinguished District status for seven years in a row! Way to go staff and students! We thank you all for your hard-work and efforts throughout the school year.

We have a 1-to-1 laptop initiate for high school and 1-to-1 Chromebook usage for Jr. High students with the incorporation of technology in each classroom. We have strong FFA, FCCLA, music, and fine arts programs as well as successful athletic teams.

Services Offered

The School Board has always encouraged providing all students with the opportunity to have at least one hot, nutritious meal per day. Breakfast is available to all students each morning. Hot lunch meals are served each day in a roomy cafeteria with a salad bar. This nutritious meal and generally all-you-can-eat salad bar are reasonably priced and are available to all students in grades K-12. Students in grades K-8 are required to stay on campus during their lunch break, while students in grades 9-12 have open campus. Even with open campus, most students continue to eat at the school lunchroom.
