I graduated from Black Hills State College in Spearfish, South Dakota in 1986 with a Composite Social Studies Education major and an athletic coaching minor.  My one and only teaching job has been here at Parker, starting in the fall of 1986.

It has been my honor to coach SO many great athletes and here are some of my many coaching highlights from my 30+ years at PHS:

  • Class-B cross-country State Champions in 2010, 2011, and 2012
  • Class-B Track and Field Combined Team Champions in 2013
  • Class-B Boys Track and Field State Champions in 2014
  • Class-B Boys Outstanding Field Athlete in 2016 (Zack Anderson)
  • Class-B Girls Outstanding Track Athlete in 2017 (Karley Peters)
  • 18 State Champions in Individual Events
  • 16 Relay State Champion Teams

My interests include reading, listening to and collecting music, traveling, and golfing.  I was married to my wife Jennifer in 1993 and we live in Sioux Falls with our rescue Schnauzer, Jax.
